Join our community of volunteers

Recovered is built on a simple belief: recovery needs to be more accessible.

By joining our volunteer community, you’ll not only be part of the mission, but also part of shaping how this project grows and reaches those who need it most.

We’re looking for people who want to share their skills, energy, and ideas. As a volunteer, you’ll have the chance to contribute in ways that interest you, whether that’s research, creativity, technical know-how, or community building. Every contribution helps recovery become more visible, more accessible, and more hopeful.

Ways you can get involved:

  • Adding your insight on what the site could be doing

  • Researching programmes, therapies, respected coaches, books, podcasts and other resources that are missing from the site

  • Adding new listings and improving SEO so resources are easy to find

  • Helping to run our social media , Facebook group, and moderators’ community

  • Researching user needs, including clinicians and those still on their recovery journey

  • Checking for website pain points such as broken links and usability issues

  • Supporting with video production, content creation, and design

  • Writing blog posts or sourcing guest contributors

  • Helping build new sections, such as carers, young people, or free resources

  • Collecting and adding feedback to programme pages, including “what people found useful”

  • Adding sources and references to blog posts

  • Supporting the migration of the site to Webflow

You don’t need to do everything – just choose the areas you’re excited about. Every small action builds towards something bigger.

Interested? Please fill out the form below – we’d love to hear from you.

Let’s work together.
