  • Movement with ME is a one-to-one movement coaching service designed for people with chronic, energy-limiting illnesses and chronic pain conditions. It offers personalised, daily movement programmes built around your energy levels, symptoms, and goals. The service is rooted in the belief that movement can be a gentle form of medicine, and is paced to support rather than push.

The programme is run by Julie Hunter, a coach with lived experience of ME/CFS, fibromyalgia, POTS, MCAS, and traumatic brain injury. Her work blends traditional exercise science with real-life insight into how to move safely and effectively with chronic conditions.

    • You begin with a 30-minute Zoom consultation and a health questionnaire

    • Based on your needs, a movement plan is created for you and delivered through the TrueCoach app

    • Each plan includes short, daily movements with video demos and the option to log your responses

    • Support frequency depends on your chosen tier:

      • Daily Review – daily plan, unlimited messaging and weekday feedback

      • Weekly Review – weekly check-ins and one message or modification per week

      • Monthly Review – monthly check-in with two messages or changes per month

    • You can also book coaching calls, one-off consultations, or adjust your support level monthly

    • The goal is sustainable movement, not fitness. Programmes are adapted based on how your body responds, with pacing and nervous system regulation in mind

    • Designed for people who are severely or moderately limited by fatigue or pain

    • Plans are highly individual and focus on safety, stability, and rebuilding trust in your body

    • The app is used for tracking and communication, which may be a learning curve for some

    • Julie is qualified in exercise science and brings over a decade of coaching experience

    • Her personal experience with chronic illness helps shape a gentle, validating approach
