  • Miguel Bautista is a former CFS patient who developed the Recovery Jumpstart programme after his own recovery. He has built a large online presence with hundreds of free YouTube videos, community groups and a structured paid programme designed to guide people through nervous-system retraining, lifestyle shifts and recovery practices.

  • Miguel provides multiple routes into his work, including:

    • Free Recovery Foundations Course – an introductory masterclass covering the core principles of recovery.

    • Recovery Jumpstart Programme – a structured coaching programme with group support, video modules and community interaction.

    • Other recovery solutions – including lower-cost memberships and resources, which people can explore on his site.

This range means there are entry points at different price levels, from free through to high-cost coaching.

    • Online discussions have raised concerns about the programme’s cost, with some reporting fees of over $6,000 USD for a year’s access, later replaced by a monthly model of around $297/month.

    • A Reddit post claimed Miguel openly described participants as “sales” and spoke of aiming for “a million dollars in six months” - which upset many people in the community.

    • Some users expressed frustration at what they saw as aggressive marketing and constant upselling.

    • Others have questioned whether Miguel personally attends enough of the coaching calls, though he disputes this.

    Miguel’s response

    • Miguel has directly addressed critical posts, calling them defamatory and saying they ignore the many positive recoveries within the programme.

    • He states he is actively present on coaching calls and can provide recordings to prove this.

    • He argues that while the programme is paid, he also offers extensive free content, including hundreds of YouTube videos, guides, free Q&A calls, and a $1 starter programme.

    • He says recovery does not require joining his programme but that it exists as optional structured support for those who want it.

    • Miguel highlights numerous testimonials, video stories and documented recoveries within his community as evidence of impact.

    • Some participants said they appreciated the structure, accountability, and sense of community provided by the programme.

    • Some clients reported improvement in symptoms and energy, attributing progress to the mindset tools and exposure therapy techniques.

    • A few found value in Miguel’s emphasis on taking action and reframing illness identity.

    • Many appreciated the free resources (YouTube, guides, $1 intro materials, free Q&As).

    • A number of reviews highlight how frameworks for nervous-system regulation gave them clarity after years of confusion.

    • Free Recovery Foundations Masterclass: A seven-day intro to nervous-system retraining, including a tailored assessment and daily video lessons.

    • Recovery Academy (paid): Includes 13 detailed modules, weekly group coaching calls, strategy calls based on your assessment, and a peer community - offered at around US $297/month (€270 / £240) with easy cancellation.

    • Free resources are extensive - including Masterclasses, guides and video content - which may allow people to access useful material without paying for the full programme.

    • Some participants report being offered free months or reduced fees in exchange for reviews or recovery videos.
